`AGRAJA` ? FIRST JAGGESH AND DARSHAN COMBINE MOUNTS

Actor of over 140 films Jaggesh and nearing to fifty Darshan challenging star of Kannada cinema join for the first time in ‘Agraja’. Darshan was ‘Gaja’ and now ‘Agraja’ Just follow me….is ready for three days of shooting. The muhurut of the film was held with Independence Day feel at Kanteerava Studio on Wednesday.

There is a great debate often going on who is correct. It is happening in all walks of field. A solid answer is needed at this situation. This is what the film attempts. Darshan as IAS officer and Jaggesh in practical and serious in his thoughts give one answer to the various questions the society is facing today. That is sure to get applaud from the audience says Jaggesh.

About six months back I was thinking of this kind of subject and it came to me as a gift. There is lot of developments and debates in the film. All are packed in commercial format informed Jaggesh. After hearing a parallel role Jaggesh suggested another big hero. Then came up Darshan name for that role remembered Jaggesh.

Producer Goverdhan T knows Jaggesh from the days of Tharle Nan Maga. He was assistant editor then, today he is the producer.

Srinandan is making debut as director in Kannada. He says the inspiration for the subject is taken from an award winning movie. He is not ready to divulge the name of the film. The actual shoot starts from 10th of September. Jaggesh has a role that he has not performed. It is serious role. Who is ‘Agraja’ – we cannot tell now says Srinandan. He worked in IPC Section300 Kannada cinema as an assistant.

Producer Goverdhan brother Venkatesh doing liquor business in Andhra Pradesh is joint producer with his friends. Nisha Shetty now Hardhika Shetty has suspense filled role. Kamana Jethmalani is in her second cinema admits this is not a big role for her. Poornima who looks similar to Priyamani is playing wife to Jaggesh. She hails from television field to cinema.

Nandan Raj not aware of Kannada is the music director. Ramesh Babu is the last minute replacement as cameraman. Earlier it was KM Vishnuvardhana.
